It has been said that every photo is a a self-portrait of the Author. As you view the photos on this site, you will get a glimps into the heart and mind of Roger Ranney; his humor and his unique vision.

Background

Roger was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps in 1964 and raised a family afterwards in Minnesota. Then he lived several years in West Florida reforming the vision by which he saw life. He now spends his Retirement in the Texas Panhandle capturing and creating that vision in photography.

Introduction to Art

Roger purchased his first camera in the spring of 2000 and diligently set out to record fleeting moments of his life and the lives of others. Learning some of the unlimited possibilities when combining camera and computer, he has spent countless hours editing images to express his view of life. This site gets its name from the fact that Roger spends many of those hours in the morning and late at night siitting at the computer in his pajamas, robe and slippers developing his creations.

Encouraged by his son Ryan, his Companion Bonnie and many others to offer his work to the public, he has agreed to share his vision.
